Lisa Blanton has developed and influenced successful biotechnology and pharmaceutical product launch and health care reimbursement policies and strategies for the Pharma/biotechnology industry for the past twenty five years. Lisa has expertise in both the United States (U. S.) public (Medicare/Medicaid/Veteran’s Administration) and private payor arenas.
Lisa’s first 8 years was spent in sales and sales management positions for the Pharma/biotech industry, giving her a sales and marketing foundation. For the past 17 years, Lisa’s key proficiencies are developing and implementing new and existing product optimization strategies with concentrated consideration of pricing and reimbursement, private payor, U. S. federal and state reimbursement related sales issues, grassroots advocacy partnerships between manufacturers and patient groups, and training programs in healthcare policy and implementation. With a rare combination of sales, marketing and high level reimbursement experience, Lisa brings an unusual breadth and depth of successful practice. Lisa also has experience with the Canadian healthcare system.

Lisa has worked on both U. S. state and federal government relations and the development and management of legislation, rules and regulations on the use of bio/pharmaceutical products in the marketplace. She has been highly successful in analyzing and effectively managing reimbursement related issues from pre-launch through established product lines in U. S. federal agencies as well as state government bodies.
Lisa has a long record of success in devising effective reimbursement plans, anticipating potential upstream problems, and working with third-party payors both public and private to allow appropriate access to integral healthcare in the United States via distribution, coverage policy, payment and coding of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.
Now the president of her own consulting company, The Collings Group, Lisa practices as an “expert for the experts” by serving the healthcare consultancy industry.
